22 Oct Advice: Strange Noise from your Furnace?
A very common call we get is for noisy furnaces. Once your furnace reaches about ten years old, we start to see these inducer motor failing calls. When the bearings start to fail, it is unable to get up to speed and cannot produce proper suction through the heat exchanger to vent the flue gas. A simple repair can extend the life of your furnace, prevent more issues from happening, and eliminate the noise. Field Superintendent Robin walks us through the before and after this repair on a call in Albion, Maple Ridge.
